Ambalangoda: The City of Masks

Ambalangoda is a city located 86 kilometres south of Colombo on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. It is accessible by train or road via the A2 highway and the Southern Expressway (E2).

The city, renowned for mask carving, is 7.12 square metres in extent and has a population of 19,982 people.
